They will discuss and share insights on why Web3 is significant to digital culture, why Web3 might just be the next boost of the internet economy, how far we are from the massive adoption of Web3, and why decentralized data is an essential part of the true Web3.
There’s no denying that there is a lot of hype and discussion surrounding the Web3 industry. However, we believe it’s essential to bring together individuals from all levels of the ecosystem to gain a comprehensive and realistic understanding of the technology. We invite those building Web3 from a theoretical and technical perspective, as well as those working on the infrastructure level. We also encourage participation from individuals who are actively implementing and practicing decentralized technology, as well as those who are regulating it. By bringing together these diverse perspectives, we hope to create a more informed and balanced conversation about Web3 and its potential.
The distinguished speakers include Dr. Max Li, the Founder and CEO of Oort and a professor at Columbia University. Also in attendance will be Professor Erdal Arikan, the inventor of the 5G polar code, and Dr. Pramod Viswanath, a co-founder of Witness Chain and a professor at Princeton University.
The conference will also feature speakers with expertise in areas such as art, finance, and international relations. These speakers include Alexandru Cujba, former Permanent Representative of Moldova to the UN and Chairman of BAl in the UN; Mike Robinson, Chairman of the Oort Foundation; Yushan Zheng, Founder of Waterdrip Capital; Jing Yang, Director of Xu Beihong Art Museum and Xu Beihong IP and Copyright Manager; Shen Chen, Director of the Blockchain Research Institute at the Shanghai Finance Institute, Dr. Zhichuan Cai, President of the Asian Blockchain Society, Marian Tong, Managing Partner at Aves Lair, and Alex Yuen, President of the Metaverse Society, Institute of Doctoral Think Tank.
